Our Projects

NeoFusion Creative Foundation is a nationally certified Non-Profit Organisation started in 2013, incorporated under section 25A of the Companies Act, 1956, that works towards the empowerment of the underprivileged communities, especially adolescents, school dropouts and also the unemployed youth of India, empowering them to live their dream of being transformed and lead sustainable lives by aligning their passion and career choices.

At NeoFusion, we believe in creating a child safe place in all our programmes and interventions by creating a safe environment in which adolescents are heard and celebrated and by doing that we aspire to create multi generational changes and make them economically independent.

We broadly work on three projects which have multiple programmes under them.

  1. Project “Sapne Huye Apne”

This project has four programmes under it viz.

Udaan – The Outreach Programme

The objective of this program is to gain access to areas where adolescents need guidance. In cases where students or their parents are unwilling or unable to visit NeoFusion’s premises, we take performing and visual arts classes, and life skills and personality development classes to different Government Schools or other educational institutions. Our objective is to ensure that every child is guided the right way to emerge as a productive member of the society. This program aims at achieving the following:

a.Community Outreach

b.Career Guidance

c.Vocational Skill Program

d.Personality Development

Workshops are also conducted for those who lack sufficient funds for their extra curricular activities and then interested students are encouraged to join NeoFusion for their after school program.

Prarambh – After School Programme

The objective of this program is to abbreviate the alarming rate of school dropouts in the country. NeoFusion ensures that all students receive basic elementary schooling through a meaningful and challenging curriculum, delivered by well-trained professionals and supportive teachers by providing the following facilities:

2. Free Summer Camps

3. Educational Support

4. Theatre, Dance and Painting Classes

In due course of time, the adolescents are reintroduced to education by encouraging them to start formal education. 1. Project Passion Hub

In April 2020, NeoFusion launched the project ‘Passion Hub- taking mentors to villages through online classes’ to bring changes in the society. This project helps underprivileged adolescents pursue their passions. Till date, this project has catered to over 3000 students with a hope to empower more. The main objective of this project is to enable students to make a living out of their passions. This project especially came into life during the lockdown period as it acted as a ray of light for many children.

  1. Project Samvaad

The main objective of this project is to create a safe space for sexual and socio-emotional wellbeing.

A sustainable change in an inclusive society cannot prosper on an uneven field of gender disparity. NeoFusion Creative Foundation’s consistent work in the past two years aligning and accelerating the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, primarily Goal 5 which is Gender Equality, has started to create ripples in the lives of its students. All students at NeoFusion have engaged in open conversations on critically significant issues which are considered taboos like menstruation, gender spectrum, etc. Self-awareness with in students was bolstered through a platform to specific their voices, both through – theatre workshops and also the launch of campaign #IWANNATALK amidst the pandemic year.

Theatre provided students a chance to jot down the play, plan and express themselves. The method underscored grave social challenges faced amongst adolescents and youth like regulatory offence, identity loss, navigating emotional disturbances. The campaign #IWANNATALK live-streamed stories of the youth who needed to be heard and was supported and appreciated across various social media platforms. As a result, we reached and impacted the lives of over 500 individuals, including parents, families, and friends of our students.

To concretize this initiative and make it accessible to other adolescents and youth, on 2nd February 2021, The International Sexuality Education Day, project Samvaad (dialogue) was launched. The project aims to make a secure space for adolescents and youth’s socio-emotional wellbeing together with a comprehensive sexuality education pedagogy approach that enables students to relate with their reality and make them society’s change makers. .

We have a specialised team of experts from various fields on our panel – Psychologists, Legal Advisors, Counsellors, Art Mentors. A comprehensive module on sexuality education is developed and that we also engage in educational awareness through our creative social media handles on Facebook/Instagram that has garnered great public responses, including – queries on supporting non-binary children; handling physiological/emotional disturbances during puberty, etc.
