Performing & Visual Arts
Background
NeoFusion launched its first skill centre in Jaipur in 2013, intending to promote Visual and Performing Arts. Later, we approached adolescents by attracting their participation and enthusiasm through various art forms and by encouraging them to complete High School once comfort was established. Every student learns one or more skills in academia while participating in plays, dances etc.
Our model is based on performing and visual art training as we will ask students to join our program for the education they refuse to do so, and if we call them for dance, theatre and martial art classes, then they happily join it and slowly, we counsel them for education.
Goal
Our goal is to provide children with excellent extracurricular activities, performing skills and arts to improve their overall development. We aim to make students excel in arts and performance skills that imbibes confidence in themselves. We also help passionate students who aim to create a career in Performing & Visual Arts by supporting them to gain professional knowledge.
Impact
With the help of various performing and visual arts activities and initiatives, NeoFusion has been to achieve the following:
- 150+ students have got Taekwondo belts, including 4 black belts
- So far, our students have done 100+ performances including at Sabarmati Ashram, Ahmedabad
- Our students are pursuing BFA in Painting and BA in Kathak
